Saturday 9 November indoor pools will be closed will be closed for air tightness testing.

Warm water pool will be closed to the public from 10am.

Indoor pools (25 metre, program pool, leisurepool/toddler pool) will be closed to the public from 1pm.

 

We anticipate re-opening at 8am Sunday 10 November. We will alert you via SMS if there are changes to re-opening times. Opt-in bellow.

Important info:

  • This will not impact Learn to Swim lessons.
  • All doors to the pool hall will be locked for the duration of the testing. 
  • Male and female changerooms will only be accessible from the dry side hallway.

What is air tightness testing?
A test to see how much air comes in and out of a building.

Why is it important?
Helps improve comfort, air quality, and energy efficiency. We are committed to moving WSAC toward becoming a more sustainable facility!

How does it work?
Fans will be used to pressurise the building and measure airflow. During the test, all doors to the pool area and ventilation openings will be sealed.
