Direct Debit Memberships

Fortnightly payment of membership is based on membership access period, not reflective use of facilities.

Access Pass 

  • Your ticket to WSAC- access passes must always be produced at reception upon entering WSAC 

  • If access card cannot be produced, suitable photo identification may be requested, or entry may be refused 

  • A photo will be taken at reception for your customer account for future identification  

  • Members who require a replacement access band or pass will incur an administration fee for each replacement card 

 

Suspension conditions

We’re flexible and work with your life and commitments 

  • The minimum suspension time for all memberships 14 day 

  • Medical suspensions are free of charge upon presentation of a medical certificate that covers all requested dates of suspensions 

  • We love being flexible, please speak to us if you have other needs or compassionate grounds for suspension 

  • Membership suspensions will only be accepted via the submission in writing to reception via our suspension request form, or via email from the account holder at wsac@wangaratta.vic.gov.au and are subject to approval  

 

Cancellation & Renewal

  • The contract shall continue indefinitely until such time as the customer requests cancellation in writing to WSAC 

  • There is a minimum notice period of 2 further payments from date of cancellation request to termination of contract 

  • Memberships, if cancelled, must be renewed within a period of 30 days of their expiry date to be considered a renewal 

  • Any membership purchased outside this 30-day grace period is considered a non-continuous membership and therefore a new membership contract 

  • New memberships will incur a joining fee 

 

Physical safety and health

We’re here to ensure you stay happy and healthy 

  • Patrons are required to inform WSAC staff (class instructor or gym instructor) of any change or existing physical conditions that may impact their ability to exercise 

  • A breach of Conditions of Entry or Conditions of Membership, or failure to follow staff instructions at any time can result in the immediate suspension or cancellation of your membership at the discretion of WSAC management 

  • Management reserve the right to alter or amend the terms and conditions of any membership without notice 

 

Teen Memberships 

  • 13-17 year olds must co-sign their contract with their parent/guardian 18+ and must comply with centre use guidelines. Parent/guardian can be contacted if behaviour is not acceptable as per T&Cs.  Teens must attend an initial gym assessment with a gym instructor and parent/guardian. 

 

Gym Access:

  • 13-15 year olds must be supervised by an adult/guardian 18+ outside of staffed gym hours. 

  • 16-17 year olds can use the gym unsupervised. 

  • 24hr access not available. 

  • Teen members are allowed access to the gym only when WSAC is actively staffed.
