Join us on Sunday, 11 May 2025, as we come together to make a difference in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer.

Every day, 12 women in Australia lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer. By participating in the Mother’s Day Classic, you’re helping to fund vital research that improves survival rates and brings us closer to the goal of zero deaths from breast cancer. Thanks to research, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has already increased from 84% to 92%—but there’s still more work to do.

Why volunteer?

Looking for another way to contribute in a meaningful way? Volunteering at the Mother’s Day Classic is a rewarding way to honour and support those impacted by breast and ovarian cancer. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to meet people and be part of something truly special.

Who can volunteer

We’re inclusive of all volunteers, everyone is welcome! No matter your age, skills, or abilities, we’d love to have you on board. If you’re under 16, you’ll need to be accompanied by an adult, and volunteers under 18 will need parental/guardian consent.

What's involved

As a volunteer, you’ll play a key role in making the day a success—whether it’s setting up the course, cheering on participants, helping at the start and finish lines, or ensuring everything runs smoothly.
