This November we're hosting a variety of courses run by Life Saving Victoria. These courses would be perfect for someone wanting to join our team at WSAC!

 

Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety

This course will equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to achieve employment as a Swim Teacher. The course focus includes fundamental water rescue skills, session planning and instructing others.

When: Thursday 14 November

First aid

This course will equip both new and update candidates with the skills and knowledge to manage life threatening emergencies until professional medical help arrives. The course focus includes CPR, shock, bleeding, crush injuries, burns, fractures, sprains and strains, breathing and heart conditions, diabetes, seizures and envenomation.

Pool Lifeguard

This course will equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to supervise swimming pool users. The course focus includes pool surveillance, scanning techniques, rescue skills, oxygen resuscitation and emergency care.

When: Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November
